With an estimated 300 million viewers, K-STAR or Kungfu Zhi Xing is considered China’s largest scale reality television program. 36 Martial Artists are selected from a previous 100000 applicants hailing from six Chinese cities and Five International venues to enter a competition searching for the next martial arts action hero. Areas to be judged included fighting, forms and extra skills… Winners were 1st Place: Gu Shangwei (Shenzhen, China) 2nd Place: Philip Sahagun (California, USA) 3rd Place: Xue Jiangtao (Henan, China)

Chen Shiliu,taoist name Shixing, is a native of Yangxin county, Hubei Province, China. He is an orthodox exponent of Wudang Gongfu and a fifteenth generation disciple of the Sanfeng Sect. Priest Chen Shixing loved wushu since childhood. From the age of seven, he learned Waijia pugilism. Later on, he learned that the place of origin of Neijia pugilism was Mount Wudang so at the age of eleven he set out to seek masters and ancestors and came to Wudang Taoist Wushu Centre. He was predestined to call on Priest Zhong Yunlong, the fourteenth-generation exponent of Neijia pugilism of Wudang.
