Your Martial Arts Skills Could Help in the Fight Against Cancer!

Did you know that YOUR martial arts skills could help in the fight against cancer here in Cambridgeshire?

Cancer Research UK is trialling a new exciting way to support the charity in this area that we thought might interest you as an instructor or club. It provides the perfect opportunity for  your martial arts club to showcase their skills to people in the local area while raising funds for a good cause.

This new initiative, called Give Take Donate, allows you to offer up whatever skills you have to other people in your local neighbourhood. People taking up these offers can then choose to make a suitable donation to Cancer Research UK.

For example instructors or pupils could use this platform to donate a free martial arts lesson (one on one or with in a class, an extra tutorial or an induction). Someone from your local community can then take up this lesson and choose to make a suitable donation to Cancer Research UK.

This idea encourages new people to try your classes giving you the chance to show them what you can do. Not only this, but your support will help fund work into the prevention diagnosis and treatment of cancer. 1 in 3 people will develop some form of cancer in their lives and this is your chance to really make an impact using the skills and experience you already have.
